Celebration Assembly
Celebration assembly was awesome because we didn't have to go onto the cold stage. Instead we got to do celebration assembly inside Taniwha class, it was warm. I presented the flax weaving that we made to protect native plants. We were really quiet while we were getting ready. The other class's play's were terrific like our one from last term. I was terrified because there were heaps of parents there. When we were finished the audience clapped like elephant's stomping with joy. I felt terrific.

Tonga has 170 Islands only 36 of them have people
living on them. People grow crops like taro, banana’s and papayas. Polynesians
started living in Tonga about 500BC so thats about 2500 years. Polynesians
believe family and religion are really important.
Tonga is 748 Km squared and NZ is 268,000. 358

My special place
We are off to go to a beautiful place where you can find trees that are wavy and green. The wind blows over my body. You run in to soft sand. Dive in to icy blue water. When you come up from the icy water you start to wiggle your feet like a fish. I dive in like a beautiful dove going up and down the icy water. I see flat Pipis diving deep down to the sand. I run out of the freezing water to get my towel. Time to leave my special place.
